Amendment/Modification Live Fire Qualification

In early 2026, LAPD and LASD both changed their longstanding policy of not allowing people to remove or add firearms to their CCW mid permit cycle. So now if you want to add or remove a firearm from your CCW permit, you just need to qualify with it and then submit a modification application the same way you did your initial or renewal permit through the permitium website.
